National Trustees Week is taking place from 4 - 8 November 2019.

Here's some information that we have collated to support Trustees...

Trustee vacancies

Trustee vacancies for Wakefield District are listed on the Volunteer Wakefield website. If you are looking to become a Trustee, you will be able to view the available vacancies. Also, if your organisation is looking for Trustees, you can advertise them by registering on the website.

If you are looking for a Trustee vacancy that is outside Wakefield District, you can use the Trustees Unlimited website. You can also advertise Trustee vacancies on Trustees Unlimited for a small fee.

Nova runs a Governance Masterclass programme, which involves various training sessions aimed at Trustees taking place on a range of topics throughout the year. The next session that we have got coming up is on Trustee Recruitment, which our Board member, Maddy Sutcliffe, CEO Well Women Centre, will be delivering for us. The session is taking place on 11 December, 9.30am - 12.30pm, at the Nova office. For more information, and to book, please visit the events page.

The Association of Chairs Beacon Programme is a support programme for Chairs and Vice Chairs of charities and non-profit organisations in England with an annual income of under £1 million. The programme is split into four modules covering topics of interest to you as Chair of a smaller charity. Each module is offered as a workshop and webinar with supporting online resources. For more information, please visit the Association of Chairs website.
