Victims' Services Directory

A new open-access online directory of services for victims of crime is currently being compiled by two researchers working for Victim Support in partnership with the West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner's Office. If you regularly work with victims of crime you may wish to ensure your organisation is included in the directory, particularly if you welcome self-referrals.
VCS grant programme for personal health budgets

NHS England has launched a programme for the voluntary and community sector to help them 'gear up' for personal health budgets so they have the knowledge, capacity and expertise to inform their local communities about personal health budgets.
Local authority cuts mapped

The Guardian has recently produced a map showing the cuts in spending in each local authority area, from 2011/12 to 2014/15. Wakefield is losing £127.66 per head over the period.
