Wakefield Libraries would like to hear from voluntary and community sector organisations and groups that would be interested in taking part in Reading Ahead. Reading Ahead is an initiative that started in 2008 and since then has helped many adults and young people build in confidence and benefit from far greater opportunities in everyday life.

Here are the schemes which the Live Well Wakefield Small Grants Fund has awarded funds to in Round 3. The Live Well Wakefield Small Grants Fund is funded by Wakefield Council. Funding is allocated via the Live Well Wakefield Small Grants Panel, which involves colleagues from Nova, Wakefield Council and SWYPFT.
The consultation for the Wakefield District Third Sector Strategy 2018-21 is now open. The consultation closes on August 31 2018.
Nova, in partnership with South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SWYPFT), has been successful in bidding for the VCSE Health and Wellbeing Fund on social prescribing.
Nova now has over 300 Nova Members.
