Nova Adviser - Community and Enterprise Development

Julie provides tailored development support to voluntary and community organisations to enable organisational growth and quality of service delivery to meet the needs of Wakefield district residents. Julie has joined Nova from Pre-school Learning Alliance and has over 20 years experience of working with voluntary and community sector organisations.

Natalie Jones

Nova Adviser - Communication and Evaluation

Natalie’s role as Nova Adviser - Communication and Evaluation includes maintaining a high quality profile for Nova through various channels, as well as evaluating and promoting the work and projects that Nova undertakes.

Sarah Moverlay-Brown

Finance Manager

Sarah has worked in the voluntary sector for over 13 years undertaking admin and finance work. Her role in Nova is part time as Finance Manager and she undertakes the finances for the organisation.

Karen Nicklin

Administrator

Karen has worked in the voluntary sector for over 10 years and provides indispensable support to the whole team at Nova. She is also the receptionist so will be the first face you see should you visit our offices.

Steve Robinson

Contracts and Performance Manager

Steve has lead responsibility to ensure that Nova contracts are being delivered to meet contractual requirements. He is also responsible for Nova's contract management systems and processes so that we are able to meet the management information requirements of commissioning agencies.

Mary Roche

Nova Adviser - Community and Enterprise Development

Mary provides tailored development support to voluntary and community organisations to enable organisational growth and quality of service delivery to meet the needs of Wakefield people. Mary has joined Nova from Wakefield Council and has a wide range of experience working with the public, private and third sectors in Wakefield District.

Kaylee Thompson

Warwick Ahead Community Engagement Worker

Kaylee provides support to the Warwick Ahead project which is based on the Warwick estate in Knottingley and is one of 150 'Big Local' areas across England. Kaylee's role is to raise awareness of Warwick Ahead Big Local within the community and to build relationships with local people, groups and organisations. This includes supporting and encouraging residents and local groups to take a positive and active role in community life and in Warwick Ahead Big Local, supporting the Partnership with the development and progress of the Community Plan. Kaylee has joined Nova from BARCA Leeds where she was a social prescriber.
