It offers a wide range of countryside activities and information and runs the 'Wild about Wakefield' project. The project aims to work with people with any disability across Wakefield enabling them to access the outdoors through a suite of different activities including: a seasonal evening tandem club, a weekday working group around the district at local nature reserves and parks with tasks including pond creation, tree planting and dry stone walling, and weekend outings that will go a little bit further out of the area to see country houses and try new adventure sports.
