Support is available to any family who is experiencing stress or difficulty and who has at least one child under the age of 12 years. Home-Start Wakefield & District supports families who may be dealing with issues such as isolation, emotional health and relationship problems. Its Giving Back project supports families with children 5-12 years to improve parenting and coping skills to help them manage behaviour, support their children's learning and develop healthy lifestyles. It also offers support in family groups where parents can get out and meet others.
