Knottingley Angels is a cheer dance group accepting members from the ages of 5-25. It aims to provide young people with rare opportunities and keep them fit and healthy and off the streets.

Knottingley Foodbank is a charity (No 1163711) and part of the Trussell Trust network of foodbanks. Run by volunteers it provides free food to clients experiencing food poverty. All food is donated and clients are referred by referrers working within the community using a voucher system. It covers Knottingley and surrounding area, extending to Hemsworth and Castleford.

Laila Milly Foundation provides day respite care for families of children under 5 with severe and complex health needs and life limiting conditions.

Leeds Credit Union is part of White Rose Credit Union following the merge in June 2014. The Credit Union is a 'mutual' meaning and it is owned by all its members for the benefit of members alone. It is a community focused organisation with 36,000 members, approximately 7,000 being in the Wakefield district and one of the largest in the UK. The Credit Union gives its members access to competitive savings plans and affordable loans at a fair rate of interest.

Leeds Involving People represents the independent voice of people through the promotion of effective involvement. It involves the community in the development of health and social care services by ensuring their opinions and concerns are at the centre of decision making processes. It does this by promoting best practice in involvement and by ensuring it uses methods that are appropriate, accessible and responsive to the needs of individuals and communities. It also supports individuals and organisations to become 'involvement ready' so they can work in partnership with public bodies to shape, improve and co-design services.

Let's Shine holds monthly music workshops for children with SEND. All activities are differentiated making them as accessible as possible for all participants.

Levi's Star Children's Brain Tumour Charity is a charity supporting children with brain tumours, donating to brain tumour research, raising awareness of brain tumours and their symptoms and offering bereavement support.

The objectives of the charity is to provide the residents of Wakefield District, particularly the neighbourhood of College Grove and Pinderfields, with a thriving community-run facility for sport, leisure, social and community activities to advance their well-being, health and prospects and to promote cohesion within the community.

Livability is the disability charity that connects people with their communities. It tackles social isolation and the barriers that can cause this in the lives of disabled and vulnerable people. Through a wide range of disability, education, training and community services, Livability promotes inclusion and wellbeing for all. Together, it works to see people take part, contribute and be valued. Livability puts the elements in place that all add up to connected lives and communities. Livability York House Ossett is a residential service home for 20 adults with physical and intellectual disabilities, including some with complex needs. Friends of York House organises events to raise funds to build on what's good and improve the wellbeing of residents.

Lock Lane Residents Group has a maypole and dance group, a craft night for children, and bingo night for all residents. We have a wildlife garden and also run a shared community garden with Wakefield Council in the Lock Lane area of Castleford. We try to improve the environment for all residents.

Lock Lane RL and Sports Centre is a community sports centre with separate ladies and gents fitness facilities, sports hall and it is the home of Lock Lane Rugby Club fielding teams from under 7 up to adult.

Long Division is an organisation that organises an annual Music and Culture Festival in Wakefield City Centre, working with a wide range of sponsors and partners. It conducts additional event management/creative work across the rest of the year.
