Theatre Royal Wakefield's own produced work includes its Pantomime and Wakefield Youth Music Theatre productions, alongside producing the work of its Creative Director, John Godber OBE. Theatre Royal Wakefield runs a busy learning and participation programme that encourages diverse engagement in the arts, working across a number of groups including young people, young people with a learning disability, socially isolated older people and refugees and asylum seekers, its work improves wellbeing and breaks down social barriers.
