Mindful Movers

Mindful Movers is a weekly meeting group focused on promoting positive mental health and wellbeing through run, walk & talk activities. Mainly based in Thornes Park, Wakefield but also accessing other green spaces in the district. The group are welcoming and friendly catering for all ages and abilities. We chat and socialise whilst getting the positive mental and physical health benefits of moving more and interacting with peers. Snydale RDA offers riding and stable management and therapy sessions to adults and children who can benefit from attending (including people with disabilities, Autism, mental health and emotional problems). Sessions run on a Tuesday and Thursday evening. Snydale RDA is a charity run by volunteers. It provides a safe and stimulating environment and aims to meet individual needs and goals.

Urban Dance Theory provides all forms of urban street dance to children from 4 years upwards. Its near future plan is to create an urban arts hub consisting of Parkour, dance studio, sprung dance floor. Urban Dance Theory's vision is to become one of the biggest youth providers in Wakefield, to also provide provision to schools, pupil referral units and a NEET provision. It also envisages it could provide work opportunities to young people.
