It does this through organising village flower baskets, bulb planting, a commuity garden, a little Library, litter picks, an annual gala and other social and fund-raising events.

The Well Project provides positive activities for anybody in Normanton and surrounding areas. It has two community buildings, one in the heart of the Woodhouse Estate and the second, brand new building, in Haw Hill Park. The Well Project runs various sessions including youth clubs, coffee mornings and job clubs and is looking to extend further to help the community. The Normanton Food Bank opened in November 2014 and is run from the Haw Hill Park building helping those in crisis.
