The training will cover:

  • The theory underpinning the concept of the 'Third Sector'.
  • Myths about the sector.
  • Characteristics of the sector (legal structure, income, services, size and distribution).
  • Statistics (local and national).
  • Current burning issues (partly determined by participant input).

Participants will have the opportunity to send questions/interests about the sector prior to the session, so that we can specifically prepare to address them on the day.
