Membership Eligibility

Membership Eligibility

To be eligible for Nova membership, organisations need to:

Be working within Wakefield District (see levels of membership below)
Be working for the benefit of the community
Be not-for-profit or a social enterprise
Have a signed constitution or governing document, or be working towards writing one

You do not need to be a registered charity or company to be a member.

When you apply, we’ll ask you to upload a copy of your constitution or governing document.
If you do not have a constitution or governing document, then please get in touch as this is something we can support you to write.

Levels of Membership

Two levels of membership are available:

Full Membership‍

This is open to organisations that deliver more than 50% of their work or have more than 50% of clients in Wakefield District.

Affiliate Membership

‍This is open to organisations with less than 50% of their work or have less than 50% of clients in Wakefield District.

Affiliate Members have access to the same levels of support but cannot vote at Nova's Annual General Meeting.
