Wakefield District Reducing Healthcare Inequalities - Community of Practice
Join Wakefield District Health and Care Partnership at Hatfield Hall for a day of learning and collaboration. This in-person event aims to bring together healthcare professionals and partner organisations to address healthcare disparities in our district. Be part of the solution and connect with like-minded individuals passionate about improving healthcare access for all.
The day includes:
- A keynote speech from Greg Fell, President of the Association of Directors of Public Health.
- Workshops from Bevan Healthcare (Wakefield's Health Inclusion Service) and Mid Yorks' Maternity Befrienders (working with women from health inclusion groups);
- Matt England on the role of Mid Yorkshire Trust;
- Dr Colin Speers on the role of Primary Care; and
- Nova Wakefield District, on the essential role that the VCSE sector play in reducing Health Inequalities.
