The Community Investment Gateway has a new funding opportunity.
Grants are available to fund the work of VCSE organisations who support seldom heard groups - underrepresented adults who are less likely to be heard by practitioners or decision makers at services, or face barriers to accessing support.
These grants are funded by The Wakefield and District Safeguarding Adults Board (WDSAB). WDSAB is a multiagency partnership responsible for ensuring that adults at risk of abuse and/or neglect are supported, listened to, engaged and empowered to live safe and well lives. One of the Board's priorities is to establish a grants scheme to support projects and organisations working with seldom heard groups, and funding is being channelled through the Gateway.

This funding is for organisations who are Tier 3 members of the Community Investment Gateway, who are already working with or supporting one or more ‘seldom heard’ groups.

Funding is available for VCSE organisations for activities to prevent or reduce gambling harms, and strengthen the VCSE sector’s ability to deliver sustainable prevention activities that reach intended cohorts.
