Here are the schemes and projects that have been funded through Round 2 of the Live Well Wakefield Small Grants fund. The Live Well Wakefield Small Grants Fund is funded by Wakefield Council. Funding is allocated via the Live Well Small Grants Panel, which involves colleagues from Nova, Wakefield Council and SWYPFT. Read more

Nova Wakefield District is the support agency for voluntary and community organisations in Wakefield District.

When you become a member of Nova you can:

  • Have 4 hours of free one to one organisational development support every year, plus a facilitated Nova ASSIST session
  • Unlimited use of Nova ASSIST
  • Access to free training, events and resources
  • Be notified of upcoming funding and contract opportunities
  • Meet and connect with other Nova Members
  • Receive the monthly Nova e-bulletin
  • Promote job advertisements on the Nova website and e-bulletin for free
  • Gain specialist support from Nova Partners
  • Have access to high quality consultancy at competitive rates
  • Vote at the Nova AGM - you can nominate or stand as a Trustee

We work closely with our Nova Partners who are: Young Lives Consortium, West Yorkshire Community Accounting Service (WYCAS), Pay & Employment Rights Service (PERS) and the Community Foundation for Wakefield District. The Partners provide specialist support, including financial management, HR advice, access to small grants and safeguarding.
