Information about

Volunteer Managers Network: October Meeting

Our Volunteer Managers Network harnesses the power of peer support and offers training to build a strong and resilient volunteering sector in Wakefield District.

Sharing best practice, providing information and hosting workshops, the Volunteer Managers Network broadcasts knowledge and connects people to practical support. The meeting is a friendly and welcoming peer space, run by the sector for the sector.

What can you expect?

The meeting is made up of volunteer managers, volunteer coordinators and anyone who works with volunteers as part of their role. Is that you or your colleagues?

Meetings happen every month and alternate between an online meeting and an in-person workshop.

Online meetings provide an informal space to keep in touch, ask questions and learn about volunteering practices and opportunities at other organisations. Workshops have a specific focus, offering practical training about volunteer policies, management and practice.

The Volunteer Manager’s Network is an open space and welcomes new members.

You can book a free place at any of the meetings, find the details on our Events page.
