A set of user-friendly resources designed by and for Volunteer Managers, to use as a foundation for your work.
The Toolkit covers key topics for Volunteer Managers and Coordinators and was shaped by the day-to-day needs of the Volunteer Managers Network in Wakefield District.
They think you’ll benefit from it because:

- It gives a strong foundation to start from so you won’t have to reinvent the wheel
- It can help refresh existing documents and introduce new policies
We valued the opportunity to co-produce these resources to support volunteer programmes of all sizes. Nova brought together local volunteer managers and staff from volunteer-led organisations to share best practice, knowledge and experiences at facilitated sessions. Their inputs were used to create these resources.

The Volunteer Managers Toolkit forms part of Nova’s Stronger Volunteering project, which focused on strengthening the infrastructure supporting volunteers and improving inclusive volunteering practices. The project was funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
