
Active Through Football Project and Wakefield Council have created a fund called 'Active Communities Fund', and the first funding window is now open for applications.
The aim is to fund ideas that help people get out and about more and be active where they live. Grants of up to £1,000 are available.

Grants of up to £45,000 are available, offering development funding and strategic support to early-stage charities and social enterprises.
Unrestricted grants for community and voluntary sports groups delivering activities for a social purpose to under-represented communities. The 2025/26 programme is focused on supporting adult participation in sport.
Grants of up to £10,000 over 18 months are available to women’s and girls’ organisations to support campaigning and influencing work that enables women and girls to use their voice to achieve change.
