
The UK Community Tree Planting Programme supports projects run by community groups and voluntary organisations that engage communities in planting and caring for native species of trees.
Grants are available for community woodlands/hedging projects that range from 100 – 10,000 trees planted per year, with a maximum price equivalent to £2.15 per tree (inclusive of tree protection and mulch). In addition, these projects also receive two maintenance grants equivalent to £0.10 per tree, disbursed in the first and second summers after planting.
Grants for capital projects are available to small and medium-sized charities registered in the UK working to assist homeless people to rebuild their lives and return to the community.
Grants of up to £2,000 for constituted charities, CICs, and voluntary and community groups with an annual income of less than £25,000, who are are providing vital services in their local communities.
Core and project funding for charities operating in the following areas: the arts, education, support for carers and older people, early intervention projects for disadvantaged children and young people, and more.
