Funding Information

Our Connecting Communities grants offer up to £20,000 to charities who provide placed-based services to our entire community or specific groups.

Funding is available to support capital projects that:

  • Breathe new life into local spaces: Upgrade and revitalise buildings and outdoor areas.
  • Bring people together: Reduce social isolation and foster a strong sense of belonging.
  • Secure the future: Ensure vital local services remain open and accessible for generations to come.

Connecting Communities grants are designed for charities who are providing a place-based service to entire communities or specific groups. Some examples are:

  • Open Access Spaces
  • Disability and Therapeutic Centres
  • Youth and Education
  • Targeted Crisis Support
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Isolation and Cohesion

Applicants must:

  • Be charities registered with the Charity Commission England and Wales, OSCR, Jersey Charity Commissioner, Charities Register of Guernsey and Alderney or the Board of Charity Commissioners for Gibraltar.
  • Own the property where the project is being delivered, or have a long-term lease with a minimum of 3 years remaining
  • Have at least one set of accounts filed the relevant charity regulator.
