Heritage Fund want to help places of worship across the UK tackle heritage challenges systemically, become more sustainable and welcome people from all backgrounds, including those who rarely visit.
This fund aims to address the following challenges facing places of worship:
Open-access capital fund to support creative and cultural organisations in revitalising, restoring, retrofitting, or renewing cultural assets, including urgent work which prevents effective delivery work for the public.
Local registered charities and not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants of up to £5,000 for projects which improve a physical building (or land attached to it) that is used by people in need.
Unrestricted grants and training for small charities to develop their organisations to tackle health inequalities. Organisations led by and supporting the most disadvantaged communities are encouraged to apply.
