Funding Information

The Hospital Saturday Fund is a registered charity that provides assistance for registered charities, hospices and medical organisations which need support for medical capital projects, medical care or research and in support of medical training. The Hospital Saturday Fund will also consider grants for running costs.

Deadlines for 2026

The Grant Making Committee meets quarterly.  The deadlines for each meeting are as follows:

  • Standard Grants: 13 Apr, 14 Jul, 8 Oct
  • Large Grants: 16 Mar, 16 Jun, 10 Sep, 2 Dec

Funding Details

  • Standard Grants: £2,000
  • Large Grants: Up to £10,000

Eligibility

  • Registered charities with medical/health objectives
  • Hospices or medical organisations

Eligible Expenditure

  • Medical projects, capital projects, research, hospice/respite care, training, and running costs
  • Large grants are for specific projects or equipment (not running costs)
