Northern Powergrid Foundation's latest grants round is now open!
Grants for not-for-profit organisations with charitable projects in the North East, Yorkshire and north Lincolnshire that support the community in line with the Foundation’s priority areas of energy resilience, vulnerability, fuel poverty, levelling the rural divide, innovation, collaboration or charities.
This round focuses on community energy resilience, such as installing solar panels and battery storage at community hubs, ensuring vital services can continue during planned or unplanned power outages or emergency events.
The funding can support the creation or expansion of community hubs, including community halls and parish halls, helping them play a vital role in keeping people safe and warm now and into the future.
A range of organisations can apply including but not limited to parish councils, village halls, community hubs and community centres, community associations, community trusts, community partnerships, etc.
This programme is aimed at registered charities, CICs and CIOs which are led by and working for Deaf and Disabled people.
Grant funding for projects that engage underserved communities with the topic of brain health and reducing the risk of dementia.
A small pot of funding from Wakefield Children's Charity and Prosper Wakefield District for organisations operating in Wakefield District that benefit children and young people.
