Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer of Nova Wakefield, I provide strategic and operational leadership for the organisation, guiding its growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support to our members. I am accountable to the Nova Board and committed to transparent, effective governance. I work closely with partners and stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and advocate for the VCSE sector. I have a deep appreciation for the sector’s significant impact and the vital role that strong infrastructure support plays in helping organisations and communities thrive. This understanding shapes my approach to partnership building and service development, ensuring Nova continues to champion and strengthen the sector we serve. Staff wellbeing is a central priority for me, and I feel privileged to work alongside such a knowledgeable, kind, and dedicated team. Together, we strive to build productive relationships and deliver initiatives that make a real difference for our members and the wider community.

My two fantastic teenagers amaze me and keep me busy. I love getting out walking and enjoy camping, particularly in the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Coast. I also like chocolate, very much.
