Making Your Case Workshop: How to Write Winning Funding Applications

Got a great project that needs funding? This three-hour training session will help you turn your brilliant idea into a compelling case that funders can’t ignore.

Even the most impactful projects can miss out on funding if the need isn’t communicated clearly and convincingly. This session will walk you through the foundations of building a strong Case for Support and show you how to use it to craft persuasive funding applications.

Whether you're a Chief Executive, Trustee, Project Worker or Fundraiser, this session will give you practical tools to improve your success rate.

About the Trainer

We’re excited that this workshop will be delivered by Tom McEvoy, a fundraiser with over 10 years’ experience developing successful grant applications to trusts, foundations, and The National Lottery Community Fund. Tom is one of the Directors at Capidale, a fundraising consultancy that has helped raise over £74 million for charities since 2011.
