Asda Foundation know accessible community spaces can be a lifeline for local people, and many of these spaces require funding to repair, renovate and develop them so that they can continue delivering vital activities and services. In addition, loneliness and isolation continue to be highlighted through their Community Insight Survey as top areas of concern for local communities throughout the UK.
To be eligible to apply for this fund, your community space must be an accessible place where members of the community can interact, seek support and access a variety of services and activities. Suitable for: charities and not-for-profit organisations that benefit local people.
This year Asda Foundation will be investing over £1 Million through our Local Community Spaces fund.
This fund opens for application on Wednesday 7 May, 10am.
The Charles Hayward Foundation fund preventative and early intervention programmes being delivered at the community level which allow older people to stay in their own homes and remain independent.
This programme is for small local charities and CICs which are led by and working with people who are experiencing economic inequity because of their race or ethnicity.
Large grants are available for not-for-profit organisations that are looking to improve a built or natural environment of regional or national significance and located within 15 miles of a Biffa site.
