Your project should clearly demonstrate how it contributes to the Core20Plus5 priorities, which currently focus on five key health areas:

  • Maternity – Supporting continuity of care, particularly for women from BAME backgrounds and low-income communities.
  • Severe Mental Illness (SMI) – Support mental health by addressing social and health inequalities. Encouraging uptake of annual health checks.
  • Chronic Respiratory Disease – Increasing vaccinations and support for people with COPD and similar conditions.
  • Early Cancer Diagnosis – Promoting early detection and diagnosis at stages 1 or 2.

  • Make a meaningful impact on health inequalities within the communities of Airedale and Ferry Fryston.
  • Engage and support residents who are most vulnerable or marginalised in these areas.
  • Contribute to one or more of the five Core20Plus5 health priorities by addressing the wider social factors that influence wellbeing.
