One-off grants are available for UK registered charities who are providing home-starter packs for people in need to move into their home.
Grants support home starter kits to help individuals and families facing homelessness, domestic abuse, disabilities, illness, or financial hardship to feel more settled and supported in their living spaces.
The B&Q Foundation provides grants of up to £10,000 for kits, with a maximum allocation of £500 per kit. Charities are responsible for managing both the purchasing and distribution of the kits to individuals.
There will be four rounds in 2026 although due to the high number of applications, future rounds may be closed and awarded from previous applications.
The remaining rounds for 2026 are:
Funding for registered charities working towards a sustainable, inclusive future - for projects that deliver positive environmental, social, or wellbeing outcomes.
Grant for registered charities that are supporting people experiencing hardship and/or underserved groups to access a place to call home and/or improve financial wellbeing.
Grants to support organisations who help children and young people get active, improve their wellbeing, and feel stronger, happier and healthier through movement.
