Grants from £100 to £10,000 are available for community groups and local charities in Castleford to help support local projects, funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
The aim is to help people improve their neighbourhoods and bring communities together, making Castleford an even better place to live.
Groups must show how their project will help local people, and their project should support one or more of these themes:

The Castleford Pride in Place Board has allocated £250,000 to the community grants programme, which will be distributed over the next four years. The grant programme will open in stages, and phase one is open from 31 July to 31 August 2026.
