The KFC Youth Foundation is offering grants of up to £3,000 per year for up to two years for youth-focused charities and community interest companies (CICs) across the UK.
Funding is to deliver projects for young people that create safe spaces, offer diversionary activities, and build life skills, to help them feel secure, empowered, and ready for a positive future.
Proposed projects should align with the following priorities:
Grassroots organisations with an annual income of less than £400,000 working with young people aged between 11 and 25 living in areas of high deprivation can apply.
If applications are high, priority will go to organisations located in the top 10% most deprived neighbourhoods, according to the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD).
Grants are available to UK-registered charities that help children and young people recovering from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and parents affected by ACEs, mental illness, or addiction.
Community groups, charities and partners working to reduce serious violence can apply for up to £10,000 each. Projects may include education, prevention, awareness and improving community safety.
The fund is for VCSE organisations working to help prevent gambling related harm.
