The Small Grant Programme is open from 1 August to 31 August 2026, and the focus is on projects that support people, particularly those with physical or learning disabilities, to access the natural world and spend time outdoors.
The funding round will be closed on 3 August 2026 or when 150 applications have been received.
Applications that do not fit the focus for this grant round, or the wider criteria for the Small Grant Programme, will be automatically rejected. The Foundation provides grants to officially recognised charitable organisations within the United Kingdom only in respect of:
Local registered charities and not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants of up to £5,000 for projects which improve a physical building (or land attached to it) that is used by people in need.
Unrestricted grants and training for small charities to develop their organisations to tackle health inequalities. Organisations led by and supporting the most disadvantaged communities are encouraged to apply.
One-off grants are available for UK registered charities who are providing home-starter packs for people in need to move into their home.
