Pontefract Foodbank are part of the Trussell organisation, a network of food banks across the UK that provides food and support to people facing crisis. Trussell also campaign for long-term solutions to the issues that cause poverty.
As Warehouse Manager you would support the smooth running of the food bank by sorting and packing food donations, checking and recording stock, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. You will be working with a tight knit team of about 15 fellow Volunteers, supported locally by a 6 person committee of volunteer Trustees and nationally by Trussell.
The role requires a commitment of between 15 and 20 hours per week, some fixed sessions and some flexible work. A competitive hourly rate will be paid for the right candidate.
