Information about

Coaching for Teamworking

Most of us use some coaching skills and approaches every day in conversations that enable others. Growing evidence shows effective coaching skills can have a real impact on personal wellbeing, innovation, care outcomes, teamworking and leadership effectiveness. It takes no extra time but is a different approach to having great conversations. The WY Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub has run this programme since 2021 and all participants have consistently provided highly positive feedback! To find out more watch our brief video featuring previous participants.

Are you a team leader and would like to work more effectively with your team?

Effective teamworking is a journey not a destination and it’s a journey worth investing in. Effective teams deliver better and safer care, they adapt to change. Their members are valued for their contribution and experience higher levels of wellbeing. Today’s context creates additional challenges for teams and their members including virtual working, boundary management, communication and decision making. In complex and overwhelming environments team members face risks of reduced wellbeing, resilience and burnout.

You can attend as an individual or bring a learning buddy from your team. If you have a whole team that may benefit from this approach and can commit to releasing the team for the at least two half days please get in touch and we can discuss bespoke options further.

No previous coaching experience needed.

There are two other courses on offer as part of this programme:

Focused introduction to coaching for staff and volunteers from minority ethnic communities (one session):
