Measuring Impact and Evaluation – Lunch and Learn Sessions

NHS West Yorkshire ICB, using expertise from universities across West Yorkshire and working with the VCSE sector, have been developing a consistent approach to evaluating impact to use across the West Yorkshire patch.

Evaluating impact can be a challenge. The aim is to help VCSE organisations describe the great work you do and the impact that has on individuals and communities health and wellbeing, as well as the wider system.

The series of 1 hour lunchtime webinars will cover:

• Health Economics, Return on Investment and Cost Effectiveness
• Theories of change, Logic models, Process and Implementation
• Data and data visualisation
• Patient Experience measures and patient outcome measures

This programme of 12 lunch and learn webinars take place this autumn between Wednesday 7 October 2026 and Friday 27 November 2026.

The preference is for participants to attend all 12 sessions. You can see the full programme below.

This series is open to all however, it may be particularly useful if your organisation is delivering health related activity, working with NHS or local authority commissioners, developing your approach to demonstrating impact, or looking to strengthen your evidence for future commissioning opportunities
