How To Engage Local Businesses

In this session we will explore how you can engage with businesses who can make contributions towards clubs, organisations and projects. We will look at the types of support businesses can offer, how to engage with and build partnerships, making an effective approach and maintaining solid relationships.

‍Who should attend

Anyone involved in running or managing a sports club or community organisation in West Yorkshire that is:

• Involved in delivering any type of community sport / physical activity (can be affiliated or not affiliated to a National Governing Body)
• Supporting your local community as an un/constituted group, charity, social enterprise or community benefit society
• Generating an income of up to £500k

This workshop will be delivered by Anthony Waddington, the chief executive of Participate projects. Anthony has worked for Participate since 2012, helping individuals, communities organisations, schools and public sector organisations turn great ideas into sustainable social ventures.
