Maximising the power of the VCSE sector for Integrated Neighbourhood Health
Integrated Neighbourhood Health (INH) is a way of making care more local, joined up and easier to use for people and communities. It will be key to delivering the Government’s 10 Year Health Plan for England: Fit for the Future and sees NHS organisations, councils and the (voluntary, community and social enterprise) VCSE sector coming together as one team around neighbourhoods, focused on what matters to local people.
Our next thought-provoking webinar will focus on VCSE sector who are essential to realising the ‘art of the possible’ for Integrated Neighbourhood Health.
As the first Keep it Local Integrated Care System in the country (our commitment to empower, support and work with local VCSE organisations), we know that to truly deliver innovative and transformative health and care to tackle health inequalities we need to maximise the unique strengths of our diverse and vibrant VCSE sector.
The webinar will be led by our Power of Communities Programme (VCSE leaders acting as a catalyst for integration within the health and care system) who will explore the conditions and cultures needed for Integrated Neighbourhood Health to flourish with the VCSE sector.
This is your chance to hear about some of the inspiring work happening across West Yorkshire to:
- Explore how deeply embedding VCSE organisations, with their unique insights, relationships, expertise and resources, are essential for designing effective, sustainable interventions embedded within communities
- How genuinely integrated way of working with the VCSE can act as a catalyst for transformation to tackle health inequalities
- Understand how you can maximise the role of VCSE organisations in Integrated Neighbourhood Health and how you can go further on journey no matter your starting point
This webinar is for anyone working across the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership who is involved in delivering neighbourhood-based services that help people stay well and thrive or who wants to learn more about Integrated Neighbourhood Health.
Whether you are from a VCSE organisation who wants to know how you can be part of Integrated Neighbourhood Health models or an NHS organisation wanting to maximise the strengths and assets in your neighbourhoods to improve health and wellbeing.
