Writing a Fundraising Strategic Plan

This practical workshop will give you the tools to develop your own strategic fundraising plan, designed to meet your funding needs and goals.

The session will cover key areas such as the purpose and need for funding, alignment with organisational vision and strategic objectives, target prospects, available resources, identification of appropriate fundraising methods, and the development of SMART objectives, including realistic targets.

You’ll also work on creating clear timescales, action plans with assigned responsibilities, and address the need for effective communications strategies.

Through practical exercises during the workshop, you’ll begin to build the foundations of your strategic plan and come away with a framework that you can continue to develop.

About the Trainer

We’re excited that this workshop will be delivered by Cath from Good Fundraising, a Wakefield-based consultancy with experience of helping charities of all sizes to develop fundraising goals and develop a sustainable future.
