Funding Information

The Anton Jurgens Charitable Trust provides grants to charities registered and based in the UK for charitable work taking place in the UK.

The Trust offers grants to registered UK based charities supporting socially disadvantaged and disabled people of all ages. When applying, please consider the following criteria:

  • Only applications from UK registered charities with an annual income not exceeding £500,000 will be considered.
  • An application should not be made if the charity has already received a grant from the AJCT within the past 5 years.
  • Charities supporting research, The Arts, cultural or religious based activities fall outside AJCT’s scope (unless engaged in the development of therapies).
  • The Trust only offers grants to charities that exclusively operate inside the UK.
  • The Trust does not offer grants to Community Interest Companies.
  • To be considered the applicant must have been registered as a UK based charity for at least 3 years.
  • Only applications for financial support not exceeding GBP 10,000 will be considered.
  • Charities that have applied online through our database will receive the outcome of their application by e-mail following the Spring (May) or Autumn (November) committee meetings, depending on the timing of their application.
  • Not being selected to receive a grant does not disqualify a charity to reapply in order to be considered in the next committee meeting.
