Information about

VCSE Voices Network: May Meeting

The VCSE Voices Network is an open space for VCSE colleagues to share information about district wide strategic decision-making and how it connects to the work of our sector.

Our VCSE Advocates attend different board meetings across the Local Authority and Health and Care Partnership to provide a voice and representation for the VCSE sector. Network meetings are a chance for you to benefit and connect with this work, and there’s lots for you to gain.

Why attend?

  1. Learn about current priorities, challenges and plans that could affect your work
  2. Be part of the wider VCSE voice and influence key decisions by sharing your feedback, ideas and information with Advocates to take back to board meetings
  3. Help build more collaborative services that priorities the needs of residents and communities, covering areas such as children, safety and housing

Meetings are held in person, held at a local community venue, and are self-led and chaired by our Advocates.

What’s on in May?

You’ll hear direct updates relevant to your work, while also benefiting from a collaborative space for peer support, problem solving and collaborative practice.

This meeting will focus on...refresher on being an advocate.

In May, Kim Shutler - VCSE representative at the West Yorkshire ICB – is coming for an informal Q&A about VCSE advocacy and partnership working with and in strategic Statutory led meetings.

We look forward to seeing you there! For more information, please contact VCSEVoices@nova-wd.org.uk
