This August Bank Holiday, Wakefield City Centre will come alive with colour, creativity and community spirit as we host the Merrie City Festival — and you’re invited!

From 22 to 25 August, the city will be buzzing with live music, dance, art, games, workshops, local traders, and surprise moments popping up around every corner. And the best part? It’s all free to enjoy.
