Personal Independence Payment Upskilling Change of Circumstances
This online awareness session provides an in-depth overview of Personal Independence Payment Change of Circumstances.
We encourage our customers to contact the Personal Independence Payment enquiry line if their medical needs or conditions change, whether they either improve or worsen. We have designed a short presentation to upskill and support awareness around requesting a Change of Circumstances (CofC) Review.
We recommend that you first have attended our full PIP session with an Assessment Provider. If you have not, please contact disabilityservices.advocacyteam@dwp.gov.uk to complete this session first.
What will the session cover?
The session will cover the CofC review customer journey, how to be prepared, what to consider and good evidence to provide to ensure the case manager can make a robust decision.
The session will also cover the health warning which is provided to all customers when a CofC is requested and the impact that a CofC can have on passported benefits.
At the end of the session there will be an opportunity for Q&A.
Who is the session for?
This session is intended for charities and organisations that provide free support to individuals managing their DWP benefits and grants. If your organisation charges for support services, we kindly ask that you do not register.
