Putting People at the heart of Integrated Neighbourhood Health

Join our inaugural webinar in the West Yorkshire Integrated Neighbourhood Health webinar series: Putting People at the heart of Integrated Neighbourhood Health.

The NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board is excited to launch a new monthly webinar series focused on Integrated Neighbourhood Health(INH). This will be the first of a series that runs monthly, usually on the last Wednesday of the month, until the end of 2025/26. We will publish the full series as soon as possible.

Integrated Neighbourhood Health is a way of making care more local, joined‑up and easier to use for people and communities. It will be key to delivering the Government’s 10 Year Health Plan for England: Fit for the Future, which sets out the shifts from hospital to community, from treatment to prevention, and from analogue to digital. NHS organisations, councils and the VCSE sector are coming together so that the staff and volunteers people rely on can work better together as one team around neighbourhoods, focused on what matters to local people.

As a result, it is important that we create the space to better understand and explore this way of working, what it will look like in practice and the ‘art of the possible’ as part of developing and embedding a continuous learning culture.

Our first webinar will go to the core of this way of working, exploring what it means to embed people’s voices into Integrated Neighbourhood Health.

Led by Paul Hemingway (Deputy Director of Communications and Involvement, NHS West Yorkshire ICB) and Hannah Davies (Healthwatch Member, NHS West Yorkshire ICB), this is your chance to:

  • Understand why placing people and community voices at the core of INH service delivery is so vital
  • Learn from some fantastic practice that exists in West Yorkshire
  • Find out more about what support will be available to Integrated Neighbourhood Teams to embed this way of working and ensure people’s voices are at the heart of everything we do
  • Bring your own thoughts and questions on this topic to other leaders in the team.

This webinar is designed for anyone working across the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership who is involved in delivering neighbourhood-based services that help people stay well and thrive or want to learn more about Integrated Neighbourhood Health.
