Silsden Town Hall Story

Silsden Town Hall is a community centre in Silsden, Bradford.

It was facing closure when a group of local people stepped in.

8 years on it employs 6 people, turns over £150k a year (63% from trading activities), and has developed a rural arts programme attracting performers from all over the world and visitors from all over the UK.

Join us for this inspiring talk to hear how community leadership, strategic planning and creative programming can breathe new life into local assets.

Whether you are involved in community development or looking for ways to create sustainable social enterprises, this session will provide valuable insights and practical lessons from Silsden Town Hall journey.

About the Trainer

This session will be run by Paul, a Specialist Enterprise Coach working on Business for Good West Yorkshire, who is supporting Wakefield-based organisations and will be based at the Nova office sometimes. Paul is also a Director at Silsden Town Hall!
