Information about
Meet The Funder: Live Well Wakefield (Small Grants)
Live Well Wakefield is a social prescribing service that empowers people to access resources in their communities that enable them to feel happier and healthier. These grants support this service, funding VCSE organisations to:
• Develop new community services which respond to gaps identified within communities.
• Increase the sustainability of existing grassroots community services.
• Scale up existing provision to meet demand.
Ahead of the next round of Live Well Wakefield Small Grants, this session offers an in-depth look at:
- Recent updates to the scheme, including the intelligence-led themes for each round
- The broader Live Well Wakefield Service and how it supports community organisations and projects across the district
- What makes a successful LWSG bid, with practical advice to help you strengthen your application
Whether your organisation is considering applying for LWSG funding for the first time or looking to improve future applications, this session will help you determine if this funding aligns with your goals and how best to position your project for success. Plenty of time for questions!
Who's Hosting the Session
We’re excited to announce that this session will be hosted by Scott Copeland, Nova’s Contracts & Grants Manager, along with a member of the Live Well Wakefield team. Scott brings extensive experience in managing contracts and grants, while the Live Well Wakefield team member will provide additional insight into the service and recent scheme updates.
