Citizens Advice Barnsley are excited to announce that they are currently seeking to recruit a Generalist Adviser to join their thriving charity. The purpose of the role is to provide tailored advocacy, advice and support to individuals and families struggling with various issues, and provide them with help to overcome those issues and prevent them from falling into similar situations again.
Whilst the successful candidate will ideally have experience of delivering general advice and have completed their training to do so, Citizens Advice Barnsley are open to
applications from candidates who require training to attain general advice certificate standard.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, with good understanding of interviewing skills and general advice work.
Contract status: Fixed term to 31st March 2028
Holiday entitlement: 32 days annual leave plus public holidays
Pension: Matching 5% employer’s contribution
