Apply by 22 September: Compassionate Leadership Programme

We’re pleased to let you know that applications are now open for the Compassionate Leadership Programme.

This unique and empowering development programme is designed to help participants:

• Develop compassionate, inclusive leadership that builds trust and connection
• Strengthen self-awareness and self-compassion to lead with emotional intelligence
• Gain practical tools and frameworks to embed a compassionate culture in everyday practice
• Create psychologically safe environments that encourage reflection, vulnerability, and personal growth.

Programme Dates (Cohort 1) – all sessions 9am to 4.30pm at St Swithun’s Community Centre, Wakefield:

• Unit 1: 22 October 2025
• Unit 2: 12 November 2025
• Unit 3: 3 December 2025

Eligibility‍

Applicants should be line managers, have organisational support, and be able to attend all three programme dates. If applications exceed available places, selection will ensure a balanced mix of organisations from across the Wakefield Health and Care network - including VCSE organisations.
