Information about
HDRC Info Session
Are you a VCSE organisation working to improve health and wellbeing in Wakefield?
Wakefield Council has teamed up with local universities and community partners as part of the Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) in order to better understand what’s really impacting our residents’ health, and use this local knowledge to make better, more informed decisions.
Together we want to learn more about how research can support your mission — and how HDRC Wakefield can support you to:
- Better understand the needs of your community
- Develop your services
- Access more funding
- Influence Decision Makers
- Measure and demonstrate your impact
HDRC Wakefield are hosting four free online information sessions designed to introduce you to the project, share exciting upcoming plans, and explore opportunities for you to get involved.
Whether you're new to research, or already use it a lot in your work, this is your chance to:
✅ Learn about funding, training, and partnership opportunities
✅ Share your priorities and help shape the support offer
✅ Ask questions and explore how research can amplify your impact
