Information about
Professional Manager Level 5 Apprenticeship
Building on the success of the two previous cohorts of the Health and Social Care Manager Apprenticeships with partners at the University of Huddersfield, applications for the September cohorts are now open.
The Professional Manager Apprenticeship will equip aspiring or new managers with the knowledge and tools to lead teams and/or projects to support the achievement of operational or departmental goals and objectives as part of delivering their organisation’s strategy.
At the end of the programme, you will be awarded a Certificate of Higher Education, achieve Chartered Manager status with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and receive a Level 5 Apprentice Award of Operations Manager.
These programmes are fully funded by the Apprenticeship Levy. For employers who do not pay into the levy, the government will pay 95% of the course costs. There is also additional support we can connect you with for the remaining 5% through our connections with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority Levy Transfer Service.
If you do not have access to the full apprenticeship levy to be fully funded for this training, please contact John Lemm, Programme Manager, System Workforce Office j.lemm@nhs.net, who will work with you to arrange a suitable levy transfer.
