What the fund is about: Community proposals for greener, cleaner and climate-ready neighbourhoods. Grants of £5,000 to £50,000 for VCSE organisations in Wakefield District for projects that benefit at least one disadvantaged community, and focus on one of the following priorities:
Grants are available to registered charities to deliver a variety of projects and activities that support children and young people under the age of 26.
This new fund for groups who distribute food and other essential items for disadvantaged members of the local community will open on 15 July and will be open for 2 weeks.
Small grants are available for local projects, activities and organisations that have charitable aims and that will be of real direct benefit to families.
