
Eastmoor Community Project (ECP) is a small, vibrant community organisation based on Eastmoor estate and they are currently looking to recruit a community support worker/volunteer coordinator. Eastmoor community Project is a charity and have served the people of Eastmoor for over 25 years, generating and maintaining community involvement and aiming to help build long term capacity and resilience. ECP's aim is to empower individuals to take ownership of their groups, and to develop personal confidence and capacity. ECP work with a range of partners and providers to help them deliver a range of work.
ECP are looking for a dedicated individual to join their small team to support and extend their work with the community.
The role involves supporting and signposting community members, helping to organise and publicise events and activities, seeking views of community members, evaluating activities and organising and supporting children's holiday activi-ties. The role also involves recruiting, managing and supposing volunteers. ECP are looking for an imaginative, well organised person who likes people. The candidiate should be able to work alone, but also be able to contribute as a team member who is willing to work with, and support other staff members.
